hochC is planning the open spaces for around 46 residential units in construction site 3.2 in Berlin-Grünau, which offers a view of the water and a connection to the public riverside path. The residential environment is to be designed to be as sustainable and green as possible with a high quality of stay and offers two courtyards with play and recreational facilities for the residents. For the children, there is play equipment for wobbling, seesawing, turning and climbing, among other things.
The courtyards are raised approx. 130 cm above the neighborhood street and offer a sandy area, two flexible lawns and plantings that create distance to the terraces. The courtyards strike a balance between enabling communal activities and still maintaining a quiet courtyard situation. Depending on whether you want to face the Dahme or prefer to look south into the neighborhood, you can use the recreational areas in courtyard 1 or courtyard 2.
Perennials, grasses and solitary shrubs are planned for the underground car park, while the deciduous trees are planned on natural ground to give them the best chance of growing. Necessary infrastructure such as waste collection and bicycle parking spaces will be located in the building wherever possible.
BUWOG is developing approx. 1000 residential units in Berlin-Grünau, divided into various construction sites, of which we are also planning the open spaces of construction site 1.
