The aim of the planning was to ensure that the various user groups could coexist on an equal footing while improving the quality of life on the market square.
A homogeneous surfacing concept using regional materials (clinker bricks, water-bound surfacing) and a clever reorganization of the parking spaces created an attractive open space clearly defined by a square of plane trees. In everyday life and on special occasions (Christmas market, weekly market, concerts, etc.), it has proven to be a
central meeting point.
