The open space was transformed from a wasteland into a meeting place with reference to the historical surroundings of the former Untermühle. The contour of the mill building was represented with concrete edgings. Seating, resting and exercise areas were created along the Ilmtal cycle path. The existing stable building was secured and given a new roof.
