Adventure trail "Our Hahnenbach

Ecological improvement and social city - the combination of the project approaches enabled the integration of a meideraum into the Gladbeck-Brauck district. Parallel to the reconstruction of the sewer, "Unser Hahnenbach" (Our Hahnenbach) was created - a stream-accompanying green connection with stations from the stream entrance to the ford. The "Blue Classroom" offers enough space for water ecology studies by the KiTas and schools, which were won as sponsors. Civic ideas were taken up and integrated in actions. Environmental justice and multicoded green structures were the reason for two awards - from the German Environmental Aid and the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development.
