In 2019, a total of 18 modules were used to build an extension to the municipal KiTa Schützenstraße in Lüneburg. New rooms for a family centre were also added. The task of the open space planning was to use the topography and the existing trees. The following elements were planned by Munder and Erzepky landscape architects and accompanied during the realisation:

The climbing landscape made of robinia wood and the climbing mound made of the existing earth mound in front of the extension building are appealing with a height of two to three metres. Behind it is a long driving lane scooter track for movement games of all ages: You can test out vehicles. Who has the right of way? Stop and take a break at the rest area.

Water playground and sand play village in the toddler area: a water mud area was created using the natural materials of natural stone, boulders and robinia wood and expanded to include play opportunities with sand.

Vegetable, fruit and flower garden: slabs were taken up under the existing pergola, in the rearmost and quietest area, to create new beds and grow vegetables and flowers. In addition, a garden shed was installed for gardening tools. Many different trees and perennials of the outside area, e.g. rowan, walnut, cherries or currants are blooming and showing fruits.

The new planting around the new building shows a wonderful foliage color in autumn and goes with the colors and blossoms in late summer colorful to the beautiful red building facade of the new building. Many plants of these are bee shrubs and with grasses create a beautiful framing for the new entrance.

Larger areas for events and team meetings: A small "fairground" was created in front of the protective front of the new building and provides a covered space for team meetings and events through the future awnings. The curved path and square design surrounds the necessary drainage shafts of the new building, which are now integrated into flower beds and hardly noticeable.
