With a view to the urban development, leisure tourism and landscape development of the outdoor facilities at Tropical Island Brand, a new location profile is to be sharpened.
The main objective of this location profiling is to successively expand the existing area around
the Tropical Islands Dome from a so-called day destination to a landscape-related, regionally integrated holiday destination.
The content focus of the realignment refers both to the existing tourism context of the destination Tropical Island and to the profiled tourism concepts of the adjacent regions Dahme-Seenland and Spreewald.
A new aspect is the "valorisation" of the existing landscape structures at the Brand site as an integral part of the framework planning.
