A playground was needed for an emerging residential area in the rural surroundings of Dresden.
The main focus was, in addition to the offer for different age groups on the integration of the existing green from small groups of trees to stately oak.
From this, exciting play spaces will be created in the medium term. The selection of the play offers was adapted to the rural area.
A special planning challenge was the slightly sloping and strongly near-surface stratified water-influenced terrain.
For this reason, the play areas were raised, provided with drainage and some hollows already existing in the terrain were further shaped as retention space for potential heavy precipitation.
