The new WIKI daycare center is another company kindergarten at Wintershall Holding GmbH. With the new facility, the company aims to offer an international and highly qualified workforce bilingual childcare with a high standard of education.



The ambitious educational concept is reflected in both the building architecture and the open space. The creation of flowing, playful transitions from outside to inside is just as important as the creation of different, independent and distinctive types of open space. The open space concept creates different play atmospheres and play opportunities in a confined space. The focus of the considerations is on a balanced ratio of offers for the daycare community, for the group community and for individual activities. At the center of the ensemble is the parents' café with direct access to the play terraces and the play yard to the west. It serves as an informal meeting place for parents and offers the opportunity for informal discussions with the educational staff. In the play yard there is a nest swing, climbing tower, sea of sand and the pump to the large meander that runs through the entire south area.

The south-facing terraces are located in front of the group rooms and are structured by islands of plants. They extend the play opportunities for the groups out into the open space. The big attraction is the water play area in the form of a winding, paved meander. In the east garden, children can climb over nets and balance on beams under the motto "discover the jungle". The lush vegetation here offers space to play hide and seek.
