The schoolyard area is divided into an inner and outer area. The inner schoolyard is lowered in the middle of the square and enclosed by a surrounding prefabricated wall at seating height. In the area of the building exits, 3 steps lead down to the lower level of the square. The steps to the central part of the building are wider in order to provide generous access to the lower level. The upper adjoining area can be used as a stage if required.
A multi-stemmed solitary tree complements the lower area and forms a spatial focal point.
