TGP developed a framework plan for the entire inner spa area of Travemünde. Functions for the individual areas were defined, an overall lighting concept and a uniform furnishing concept were developed. In the first stage of realisation, the Godewindpark was completed in the year 2000.

The aim of the planning was to re-establish the characteristics and strengths of the park, which was created at the turn of the century, and to adapt it to today's requirements and contemporary usage demands by means of individual new design elements.

The park was reopened in the peripheral areas and a transition to the surrounding buildings was created.

All groups of bushes were cleared and the lines of sight exposed. The park can now be viewed and socially controlled from the surrounding area.

The tree population was rehabilitated, self-seeded woody plants were cleared and replanted trees were transplanted and reassembled into groups and "clumps".
