The exhibition of the State Garden Show is to be understood as a kind of "time travel" through the historical stages of Hubland. It directs the view to settlement epochs, historical events and previous uses and thereby also enables a visionary outlook on future uses of the site.
On the Hubland, an area used for decades as an American base, a modern, forward-looking urban district is being created.
The theme gardens are intended to provide inspiration for how we want to live and dwell in the future and respond to social change. In the form of "time jumps" the gardens show thematic parallel worlds.
