Büro arbos GmbH was founded in 1992 by Günter Greis, Peter Köster and Kai Metzger. In addition to the two owners Günter Greis and Peter Köster, arbos currently has 17 permanent employees who share a passion for designing public spaces and developing them through all phases of work. Having completed numerous projects throughout Germany, the office has extensive experience in the most diverse fields of landscape architecture. The fields of activity of arbos range from the holistic design of public spaces and parks to open spaces at educational and health facilities and projects in residential construction or integrated urban and landscape development. arbos is represented in competitions as well as in projects for municipalities, investors or companies. It is part of arbos' self-image that new solutions are developed in network structures.



The office therefore works together with various partners from different specialist disciplines right from the project conception phase and in competitions. arbos always sees public space as a meeting place for everyone and, particularly in times of climate change, as a defining element of an ecological transformation.

The arbos team has particular expertise in the leaps in scale of the individual projects. Starting with the processing of complex tasks at the urban planning level, such as urban development measures or framework planning, projects can be accompanied through to the object planning of the open spaces.



The arbos office takes on planning tasks in all service phases of the HOAI - from basic evaluation to project supervision or as a special landscape planning service as part of interdisciplinary project teams.
