Jöllenbeck Cemetery
The design is based on a radial development concept that connects the main path axes of the existing cemetery section with each other in the form of an arc. The center of the resulting semicircle is a central square surrounded by trees in the axial projection of an old mill on the Jöllenbecker Esch. The radial course of the path is likewise transferred to the occupancy areas and thus opens up constantly changing perspectives for the viewer with punctual views both into the landscape and to the centre of the newly created complex.
