The aim of the present design concept is to provide future residents with differentiated open spaces that can be used in a variety of ways. The unobtrusive, park-like design of the open spaces naturally blends into the overarching open space and access concept of the existing settlement

Transparency and permeability determine the design concept. In accordance with the overriding design guidelines, private ground-floor garden zones with hedges or fences are deliberately avoided.
The proposed differentiated tree plantings follow the overriding vegetation system of the master plan and characterise the respective sub-areas of residential open spaces, communal open spaces and the overriding public green corridors and neighbourhood squares.
Garden paths with attached seating and play areas complement the offer and link the planning area with the surrounding development areas of the public green corridors and the inner development roads.
Extensive unsealing measures in the area of existing parking facilities and a differentiated, high-quality and restrained addition to the existing green structures promote a positive residential environment.
