Garden Artistic Realization of the Climate Anomaly in the Rhine Rift Valley
"Landscape Architecture Sculpture"

In contrast to the temperate climate of Central Europe, almost Mediterranean conditions prevail in the Rhine Graben with its distinctive wine culture. The garden cabinet "bizarre" refers to
this climatic-geographical peculiarity in terms of garden art:
640 uniform trees of life of approx. 55 cm height planted in a metal grid stand for the homogeneous climate of Germany. In the Rhine plain, the system gets out of order. As a result, the distances between the plants change. The sculptural unity of the composition changes on closer
observation into a multitude of bizarre individual elements. From the changing perspective of the viewer, the distortion of the spatial structure is perceptible in varying intensity. This gives the minimalist
staging dynamics and graphic expressiveness.
