The square is divided into three thematic-functional areas: at the same level as Magdeburger Straße, the Magdeburger Platz, the Nordstern Terrace and the Punch Lounge as a separate outdoor area in front of the Punch. The square is separated from the street traffic and the parking lots by a forecourt. The installation of floor-to-ceiling windows ensure the terrace and open space use of the facilities. Roll-out awnings additionally support the café or lounge ambience.
