As part of the implementation of the tourism concept of the VG Zweibrücken-Land, a water adventure playground was created in 2015 on approx. 3000 m² in the municipality of Contwig. This is intended to thematically complement the local leisure facilities with the warm outdoor pool and the Schwarzbach floodplain. The concept takes up the motif of shells on the beach in a lagoon landscape.
The focus of the facility is the large water play shell with numerous pumps, barrage and weirs, water basins, channels and a water forest. The smaller play shell houses a mud facility. Similar to an arena, several seating cuboids are grouped around the facility. During the implementation, great importance was attached to ecological concerns and typical local materials.
